Established in 2015 by interdisciplinary artist and DJ Sustile Blank, SKNDLSS began between Cleveland and Detroit and now operates in New York City. With a background deeply rooted in the queer underground nightlife scene, Blank delved into exploring identity through various mediums of performance art, runway shows, and club visuals, crafting immersive experiences distinct from mainstream culture.Their creations in garment and metalwork serve as both a form of defense against a world that once felt alienating and a means of transforming that adversity into a source of empowerment. Blank's expertise extends to serving as a creative director and consultant for numerous brands, while their work has been prominently featured in publications such as King Kong, Paper Magazine, Sicky Mag, and Vogue. Celebrated globally, SKNDLSS designs have been donned by prominent figures like Julia Fox, The Clermont Twins, Madonna, and a myriad of independent artists. Ongoing collaborations with various creatives underscore Blank's commitment to fostering an inclusive community within the realm of fashion.
